Fire Extinguisher Training Classes

Resident State Fire Marshal, Steve McCormick is conducting three fire extinguisher training classes at Francis Marion University for the Resident Assistances (RA’s) that live on campus.  The first class had 28 participants.  The second class had 12 participants.

Each training class consists of one (1) hour of classroom lecture.  After the lecture, the class moved outside to the parking lot, where each participant used a dry chemical fire extinguisher on a propane burner prop to practice what they learned in the classroom.
